Granted, I wasn't really sure what I was doing since I'm still not crystal clear on how the political/electoral system works here, but at least I did have input.
I did find it very cute that rather than any sort of complicated system/technology, you put an "x" besides whatever name(s) you want to vote for. Makes sense to me.
